What to expect

As dusk falls and the crowds thin, your guide will take you through the heart of Old Town, across the Vltava (Moldau), and into the largest palace complex in the world – Prague Castle. On your way there, wander past places like New World, Strahov Monastery, or Prague Loreto. Take in the tales full of magic and alchemy, including the legend of the Golem or the Devil's Bible.

Your guide will tell you about the city’s dark and often esoteric history, from “Good King” Wenceslas to Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. You’ll hear also stories from the golden age of Prague during Emperor Rudolf II.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to see Prague Castle and its surroundings in a quiet, enchanted atmosphere, without the bustle of people. You’ll pass by the Golden Lane that was, for one brief period in time, home to the famous author Franz Kafka. Meeting point:
The tour begins in front of the building Tynska 627/7. Directions from the Astronomical Clock: walk across the Old Town Square toward the Tyn Cathedral; with the cathedral in front of you, take the narrow, cobbled street (Tynska) which runs between the cathedral and the beige Baroque Kinsky Palace; once you're standing behind Tyn Cathedral, you'll see the big wooden door of the building number 7.
What to remember

Know in advance:

    Super spannende Geschichten und Geschichte rund um die Burg und die Alchemie. Corinna gab uns außerdem Tipps für die folgenden Tage. Wir haben auch die Geister und Legenden Tour durch die Altstadt gemacht. Beide zusammen haben uns die Stadt und die Menschen deutlich näher gebracht.

    Die Führung war am Abend, dass es überall schon recht leer war und wir so viel sehen konnten. Unsere Führerin war super nett und hat sehr interessante Geschichten erzählt. Das Highlight: Wir waren nur zu viert und hatten dadurch fast eine Privatführung. Stimmung und Prag bei Nacht war einfach toll

    Eine super nette Führerin, die uns die viele tolle Geschichten zu Prag und der Prager Burg erzählt hat. Die Atmosphäre in Burgviertel am Abend war sehr schön. Besonders gut fanden wir, dass die Führung auch für nur 4 Personen durchgeführt wurde. War dadurch fast eine Privatführung.

    Wir hatten das Glück und waren nur zu zweit. Pasquale, unser Guide, kannte sich sehr gut aus und hat neben interessanten Geschichten auch alle anderen Fragen zur Stadt und den Orten beantwortet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können es nur empfehlen, wenn man eine gute Mischung mit Geschichte möchte.
