What to expect

Go beyond the obvious on this jam-packed Louvre Highlights Tour, peering behind the artworks to unlock their secrets. Skip long lines and join this short (but sweet) adventure into the heart of French art and history.

You'll see famous French works like Géricault’s ‘Raft of Medusa’, which depicts the true story of shipwrecked sailors driven to cannibalism. Da Vinci's ‘Mona Lisa’ will play a major role in your tour – you won't believe how tiny the Louvre's most famous artwork is, nor how many guests have tried to destroy her! At the sculpture gallery, you'll encounter another Italian in Michelangelo's ‘Slaves’; plus Antonio Canova's incredibly romantic ‘Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss’.

You'll also get a sense of the other uses of the Louvre as a royal palace. With your guide pointing out the details, you'll notice the beautiful ceiling panels and explore a special room filled with crown jewels.

At 10:15 am start time only: enjoy an exclusive, intimate Louvre experience with a maximum of six guests, ensuring a personalized journey through art and history.
