We enjoyed every little thing about this trip. This is definitely a must do trip when in Maderia. Chris the guide was very knowledgeable and was passionate about his work. Chirs was very informative and was great fun during the day. The Fanal forest experience was fantastic,,,, something extra special. Chris looked after us every step of the way. Chris was clearly an exceptionality gifted off road drive and responded to the groups wishes to either go mild or get more adventurous "we loved it"
This is a tour that will take you to a journey to the forgotten beauty of the island!
You'll start in the South, going throughout the mountains, passing some off special roads and offloads in the woods. Once on the top of the mountains, you'll find the amazing forest of Fanal, where there are ancient trees, that will for sure trigger your interest. From there on, you'll descend to the North side of the island, where you have the opportunity to go for a swim in the natural lavapools. After a refreshing dip, the tour will take you to the west side of the island, passing some lovely views, to slowly come to an end, at the most Western point of the island, Ponta do Pargo.
This marks the end of an unforgettable day exploring this remarkable island.
