What to expect

Spend the day travelling through the forested Troodos Mountains and discover some of Cyprus' wildest landscapes on this 4x4 tour. See vineyards, waterfalls, mountain villages like Lefkara, pine forests and more.

We'll kick off the action at the impressive Dipotamos Dam for a photo stop. Then, it's onto the sleepy mountain village of Lefkara, renowned for its intricately-made lace and silverware. We'll go a bit off-piste into Mesa Potamos Forest where you can take part in an optional hike, too.

Once you've built up an appetite, a meze-style lunch will be served in a village taverna. Then, we'll head to a beautiful forest waterfall with ice-cold water cascading down 20m. There'll also be a stop for some wine-tasting, followed by a visit to Omodos village, where you can walk through narrow streets and try a Cypriot coffee in a local ‘kafenion'. A refreshing end to an action-packed day.

    Tour wurde extra in Deutsch gebucht, Fahrer konnte kein Wort Deutsch, in einem anderen Jeep konnte der Fahrer deutsch.

    Die Tour war sehr gut, man hat zwar viel im Defender gesessen, aber trotzdem sehr viel gesehen. Tolle kleine Dörfer besucht, tolles Meze Mittagessen und leckere Weinprobe. Der Fahrer Fanos ist einfach genial, lustig und macht die Tour zu einer ganz besonderen.

    Wenn man einen deutschsprachigen Guide Bucht, möchte ich diesen auch während der ganzen Tour haben und nicht nur an den Treffpunkten. Den einen Stopp an dem Kaffee ist völlig unsinnig. Man sitzt da 15-20 min.rum und kann nicht's machen. Diese Zeit hätte ich lieber für den letzten Stopp im Dorf gehabt.

    Die toll organisierte und geführte Tour bietet den perfekten Einblick in die Zyprische Kultur, das Leben und auch die Probleme der Menschen auf der Insel. Der Guide Fanos kann als Einheimischer viel erzählen und glänzt durch seine witzige Art. Wichtig ist bei der Tour, dass die Teilnehmer sich selbst unterhalten, da die Etappen teilweise bis zu 45 min Fahrt im Jeep voneinander entfernt sind.     Es war ein sehr schöner Trip. Lange Fahrtzeit aber das weiß man wenn man den Ausflug bucht. Aufenthalt im Bergdorf eher kurz, wäre schön wenn diese länger wären. Essen super. Der Fahrer war super nett viel erklärt. Fazit ich würde den Ausflug wieder buchen
