East meets west in Mostar – een stad van kerken en minaretten en eeuwenoude huizen. Je gaat de grens over naar Bosnië-Herzegovina en ontdekt plekken zoals de wereldberoemde Stari Most brug en de bazaar.

In Mostar komen veel culturen en religies samen. Het oude centrum staat vol grootse gebouwen uit het Ottomaanse en het Habsburg tijdperk. Historische minaretten en imposante kathedralen vormen een mooi plaatje tegen de achtergrond van de 2000 meter hoge Velez berg.

Met de gids wandel je door de geplaveide straatjes van de oude bazaar, een goed bewaard traditioneel Turks huis en door een van de vele moskeeën. Na de rondleiding heb je de middag vrij om zelf de stad te ontdekken. Er zijn leuke oude ambachtswinkeltjes om in rond te neuzen. Honger gekregen? Geniet van een lunch met uitzicht op de Stari Most brug.

Amazing landscapes and adrenaline-pumping adventure are the name of the game in this River Cetina rafting excursion. You'll make your way along the Dalmatian coast towards Omis and then climb up the western slopes of the Dinaric Alps to the starting point. The descent ends a few hours later in the lower Cetina gorge.We'll head to Omis – a pretty town at the mouth of a rocky gorge on the River Cetina. From here, we'll drive up into the mountains. On arrival at the launching pad for the descent by raft, you'll be given a quick safety briefing and kitted out with wetsuits, helmets and life vests.Next, you'll take a seat in your raft, ready for a ride through the rugged canyon. Expect fast-moving rapids and calm currents as the raft skims, spins and glides over the foamy water. Your rafting adventure lasts about three hours, before ending at the lower gorge. Here, you can leave your rafts behind and jump into the river for a dip or explore the neighbouring forest.
