East meets west in Mostar – a city where minarets and church spires rise above ancient stone houses. You'll cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina, and discover sights such as the world-famous Stari Most bridge and the bazaar.

Mostar is a melting pot of cultures and religions. The UNESCO-listed old town is packed with grand buildings from the Ottoman and Habsburg eras. Historic mosques and imposing cathedrals dot the skyline in the shadow of the 2,000m-high Mt Velez.

Your guide will lead you around the cobbled old bazaar, a well-preserved traditional Turkish home and one of the many mosques. After the tour, you'll have the afternoon free to explore for yourself. Spend some time in the old craft shops or enjoy lunch overlooking the Stari Most bridge over the River Neretva.

    Ich würde Kunden darüber informieren, dass es viel Zeit an den Grenzen benötigt. Zusätzlich wäre es schön, wenn nicht nur die Altstadt sondern auch die Burg und/oder Medugorje in diesen Ausflug integriert werden würde.

    Der Ausflug nach Mostar was super allerdings war im Programm auch ein Moschee Besuch vorgesehen der leider nicht stattfand

But the park's crowning glory is Skradinski Buk – a huge natural pool with 17 cascading waterfalls bursting through the trees. Tomislav adds, “The fairytale tiers of Skradinski Buk were formed by layers of travertine limestone building up from the mineral springs that feed it.”You'll stop here for a snack at a local restaurant with a view that you'll want to lock away and remember for ever. You've then got all afternoon to explore the park for yourself. You can go wildlife spotting along the trails, as nightingales, herons, falcons and owls are all regulars here. Plus, the water is so see-through-clear here that it's easy to spot fish in the waters of the Krka River. Amazing landscapes and adrenaline-pumping adventure are the name of the game in this River Cetina rafting excursion. You'll make your way along the Dalmatian coast towards Omis and then climb up the western slopes of the Dinaric Alps to the starting point. The descent ends a few hours later in the lower Cetina gorge.We'll head to Omis – a pretty town at the mouth of a rocky gorge on the River Cetina. From here, we'll drive up into the mountains.
