Zon, glijbanen en zonnebrandcrème zijn aan de orde van de dag in het Aqua Park van Nessebar. Je komt tijd tekort om alle 38 waterglijbanen van het park af te zoeven, in de zwembaden rond te spetteren en tussendoor te relaxen op de ligstoelen. Jong en oud komt hier aan zijn trekken.

En dankzij de transfer hoef je alleen maar aan je zwemspullen en zin in een spetterend avontuur te denken. Stort je van de spiraal, race over de Phantom of land in de Deep Blue. Dan is er nog de Slalom die op je wacht, of probeer de Wilde Cobra te temmen. En tussendoor waag je je nog op veel meer andere waterglijbanen.

Time out in de twee rivieren, zwembaden met hydrotherapie en de jacuzzi. Ondertussen spetteren de kids rond in het waterkasteel en het zwembad. Of je gaat met de hele familie naar een van de shows die je de hele dag door bekijkt.

Guided walking tour of Bulgaria’s UNESCO-protected Nessebar

You'll find the ancient city of Nessebar on a rocky peninsula jutting into the Black Sea. Your journey to this UNESCO World Heritage Site is well worth it, as you begin with a guided walking tour that uncovers the stories of its Medieval churches, forts and ruins. After the tour, you'll have free time to wander the cobbled streets of the old town, have a spot of lunch, snap photos of the charming architecture or haggle for hand-crafted souvenirs, like stained-glass trinkets and local shell crafts. In the early afternoon, you'll hop back on the bus for a stop in Burgas, the second biggest city on the Black Sea coast. Nessebar Old Town Walking Tour

Strolling through Nessebar is perhaps the most culturally enriching experience on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast. This headland, known as the ‘Pearl of the Black Sea', is only slightly larger than the Vatican City yet has many more churches. Ivaylo, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Nessebar is a living museum – there are monuments here that were built as far back as the 5th century. Due to its strategic location, the town has always been a busy merchant hub. This is why it was here, over 2,500 years ago, that money was invented and first used for trade.'You'll begin with a guided walking tour of the old town, which is crammed onto a narrow peninsula jutting out into the Black Sea. Historians know that there's been a town here for 3,200 years, making it among Europe's oldest. There's so much history packed into the old town that Nessebar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There's evidence here that reflects the architectural progress of the whole Balkan and East Mediterranean regions.Winding streets and alleys fringed with characterful timber homes lead you to more than 40 churches dating back as far as Byzantine times.
