Esplora l'interno di un vulcano e percorri il sentiero percorso dalla lava migliaia di anni fa. In questo tour visiterai il tunnel di lava Raufarhólshellir, a soli 30 minuti da Reykjavík. Il tunnel di lava è uno dei più grandi d'Islanda, con una larghezza fino a 30 metri e un'altezza di 10 metri.

Il soffitto del tunnel di lava è crollato vicino all'ingresso, creando splendide colonne di luce. Potrete ammirare una straordinaria varietà di colori nel tunnel, dovuta ai diversi tipi di minerali presenti nella roccia. Il tunnel di lava è un'esperienza naturalistica unica ed è come entrare in un mondo nuovo. Si cammina per circa 350 metri nel tunnel di lava e la temperatura nella grotta si aggira intorno ai 4 gradi. La grotta è stata anche il set di alcune scene del film hollywoodiano Noah con Anthony Hopkins.
