The action begins in the scenic surrounds of Strandja Nature Park – Bulgaria's largest protected area. Here, we'll hike for around 45 minutes through the pristine forest, home to a rich variety of rare plants, birds and wildlife. Next, we'll head up to the Foundryka Cave, famous for its underground lake.
After a typical lunch in Mladezhko village, we'll make our way to the open-air ethnographic museum for a look at local history and culture. Heading back to base, there's a final stop at a waterfall for some time to relax.
