Ce qui vous attend

La côte dalmatienne de la Croatie héberge un des plus beaux parcs naturels du pays: le parc de Biokovo. Cette excursion d'une demi-journée vous promet un programme de haut niveau, puisque vous entreprenez l'ascension à pied du point culminant de la Dalmatie, le sommet Sveti Jure ou Saint-Georges. Le jeu en vaut la chandelle, car vous aurez des vues infinies sur la mer Adriatique et les îles voisines.

Vous roulez jusqu'au parc naturel de Biokovo, le paradis de la flore et de la faune endémiques. Il vous offre en outre des panoramas des villages côtiers de la côte dalmatienne. Une fois dans le parc, vous pouvez affronter le point culminant de la Dalmatie, le sommet Sveti Jure qui culmine à quelque 1 762 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer.

Du sommet, vous apercevez la mer, les îles et les villages, ainsi que les vignobles en terrasses au loin. Avant le retour, vous disposez de temps libre pour explorer le parc naturel de Biokovo et recharger vos batteries.

Nationalparken Krka och vattenfall – utflykt

En utomhusupplevelse blir inte bättre än i nationalparken Krka, en av Kroatiens verkliga naturskatter. Du kommer att få chansen att andas in den friska luften och utforska Skradinski Buks vattenfallstänkta landskap. Vi gör också ett besök i Stella Croatica, känt för sitt fina hantverk. Krkas nationalpark är en plats med dånande vattenfall, sjöar och idylliska vandringsleder längs med floden. Men innan vi är framme, kommer vi besöka Stella Croatica - där du kan smaka på några lokala handgjorda delikatesser. Väl framme i parken har du resten av dagen till att promenera över gångbroarna av trä längs med vattnet, lära dig mer om gamla traditioner och titta på den gamla kvarnen med vattenhjul. Parkens höjdpunkt är Skradinski Buk som är en stor naturlig bassäng med 17 forsande vattenfall som bryter fram mellan träden. Du kan också ta en närmare titt på viltlivet och spana efter näktergalar, hägrar, falkar, ugglor och annat djurliv. Här kommer du också ha tid för lunch.

Biokovo off-road-safari

Looming large over Makarska, the Biokovo mountain range is a sight to behold – and explore. Buckle up and enjoy a scenic 4x4 journey up above the Adriatic coast into the Biokovo mountain range. Along the way, stop to admire the monument of Galeb wings in Podgora and visit one of the oldest churches in Podbiokovlje. Then, you'll arrive at Biokovo Nature Park. And the beauty of travelling by 4x4 is that you can travel to the top of Sveti Jure, the highest peak, with ease. You'll then have a picnic at Pod Vošcem mountain lodge.

Rafting Cetina River

Amazing landscapes and adrenaline-pumping adventure are the name of the game in this River Cetina rafting excursion. You'll make your way along the Dalmatian coast towards Omis and then climb up the western slopes of the Dinaric Alps to the starting point. The descent ends a few hours later in the lower Cetina gorge.We'll head to Omis – a pretty town at the mouth of a rocky gorge on the River Cetina. From here, we'll drive up into the mountains. On arrival at the launching pad for the descent by raft, you'll be given a quick safety briefing and kitted out with wetsuits, helmets and life vests.Next, you'll take a seat in your raft, ready for a ride through the rugged canyon. Expect fast-moving rapids and calm currents as the raft skims, spins and glides over the foamy water. Your rafting adventure lasts about three hours, before ending at the lower gorge. Here, you can leave your rafts behind and jump into the river for a dip or explore the neighbouring forest.

Biokovo Nature Park Tour

Standing tall over Makarska, the Biokovo mountain range is a sight to behold – and explore. You'll venture into Biokovo Nature Park on this half-day panoramic tour, which brings you close to nature without the need for hiking long distances. The highlight of your journey will be a visit to the skywalk where you can step out onto the glass walkway to experience the sweeping views.You'll drive through Biokovo Nature Park, a haven for endemic flora and fauna as well as a great viewpoint. We'll take a break at 800 metres above sea level for a photo stop, with your guide to point out the distant islands and landmarks. Next up, it's the awe-inspiring Skywalk, situated at 1228 metres above sea level. Step onto the curved structure with glass walkway and prepare for more dazzling views of the Makarska Riviera, and several islands.After the thrill of the Skywalk, we'll take a calming short walk surrounded by nature. This leads to a picnic spot where you'll be offered a hot drink and a piece of cake before setting off back down the mountain through the Nature Park.
