Qué te espera

Formada por una erupción masiva hace 3.500 años, la caldera de Santorini es uno de los mayores espectáculos naturales del Mediterráneo. En este crucero matutino, subirá a bordo de un velero de madera y se deslizará hasta Nea Kameni y Palea Kameni, los dos islotes volcánicos que emergen del agua, y continuará por el borde de la caldera.

El primero es Nea Kameni, el mayor de los islotes gemelos. Suba hasta su cráter y pase por encima de campos de lava solidificada para contemplar sus humeantes vapores. Disfrute de las vistas de los duros paisajes lunares y de Santorini a lo lejos. A continuación, navegará hasta las fuentes termales de Palea Kameni, donde tendrá la oportunidad de bañarse en sus aguas ricas en minerales, que pueden alcanzar temperaturas de 35°C. A orillas del agua hay una capilla ortodoxa muy Instagrammable.

A continuación, se vuelve al barco para recorrer la costa, donde las casas encaladas se elevan sobre los bordes septentrionales de la caldera, antes de regresar al puerto de Athinios.

The day said it was a half day but it then said between 4-8hours , it was a full day ! Although it was a really nice day ! You have to pay €5 to get on the volcano which was suggested was an option but it’s not, unless you stay on the boat you will have to pay it, the swimming in the hot springs was good although they said you need to be a strong swimmer , I don’t class myself as a strong swimmer and it was fine with the float they provided , really enjoyed the stop for lunch , beautiful place

We enjoyed the full experience from walking on the Volcano to swimming in the hot springs & calling in for a bite to eat afterwards was the end to a perfect day. Would highly recommend this trip. However you need to be fully fit to walk up to the volcano and a good/strong swimmer to get to hot springs.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. 3 points that could be improved upon… 1) Our ticket for the cruise from Tui had no QR code on and the guide kept sending us to the back of the line due to this 2) The captain waited until after the guide had done her welcome briefing before any sort of safety advice - eg where the life jackets were. This information was not relayed to until we were well out to sea. Should have been before we set sail. 3) Abdolute chaos at the end. Nobody knew which bus to get on.
