This center is a rehabilitation and consequently a showcase of birds incapable of being released back to the wild. They are highlighting to all interested in Raptors and birds of prey, these magnificent birds and their incredible skills of flight and hunting! Its truly amazing to witness the young environmental study graduate present the birds he has gained the confidence of and trained to fly so closely around the audience catching prey (beef heart pieces) he throws in the air and the birds catch before it hits the ground! He evidently is passionate about these birds, and their welfare. Such a great experience, would recommend highly the show and then a leisurely stroll around the 7 hectare property where you can see each species in a flight aviary and an info sheet about each bird. All funds gained by the business is not for profit and goes towards research and care for these species!
