Your next stop will be at Agios Gerasimos Monastery, the largest and the most important of all the island of Kefalonia. Leaving the Monastery, you'll head towards the magnificent Drogarati Cave, where you can see the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. A visit to the fabulous Cave of the Nymphs, Melissani Lake follows next, heading after to the cosmopolitan village of Fiscardo, which still stands as a model of the old port, untouched after the great earthquake of 1953. Stroll around the village to explore its many hidden gems.

Finally, a photo stop of the stunning beach of Myrtos which the view from above is truly breathtaking. Your local guide will inform you of the history of the island, inside tips and many more. A perfect day to explore Kefalonia’s highlights!

    The tour was good, only drawback was that people in Skala spent an extra 1.5 hours on the coach each way BEFORE the tour officially set off due to the no.& location of pickups. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the tour route was reversed so that the ones in Skala were dropped off first on way back.

    Probably the best tour I went on, the guide was excellent and managed to visit a monastery, do some wine tasting at a nearby vineyard, visit two caves and take in the beautiful scenery. None of it felt rushed, also had lunch at a beautiful village. Thoroughly recommend.

    Our guide Maria was very good and we saw some beautiful parts of the island. We were based to the east of the island and were the first on the bus. This meant we got great, front row seats but it also meant quite a long time picking up other passengers before the tour properly started.

    This was a very interesting tour that took in a huge part of the island. Katerina, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the island - history, geography, religion etc. The only negative was the amount of time on the bus compared with visiting - perhaps Fiskardo is a little too far.

    A fabulous full day tour, seeing all the stunning sights of Kefalonia with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Organisation beforehand was very good and pick up was from the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend.
