Beschreibung

Für diese Weinverkostung am Nachmittag haben wir uns mit einigen der besten Weinkellereien Istriens zusammengetan. Bei der Besichtigung der Weingüter Gortan und Baćac erfahren Sie alles über deren Produktionsverfahren und können anschließend eine Verkostung genießen.

Zuerst fahren Sie nach Pićan, um das Weingut Baćac zu besuchen, wo die Familie seit vier Generationen Wein herstellt. Die Weinberge liegen am Fuße des Učka-Gebirges, was den Vorteil hat, dass kühlere Luft vom Berggipfel herabströmt und auf warme Küstenbrisen trifft - perfekte Bedingungen für die Reben. Bei einem Rundgang durch das Weingut erfahren Sie mehr über den Prozess der Weinherstellung, und dann ist es Zeit für eine Weinverkostung mit lokalem Fingerfood.

Unser nächster Halt ist das Weingut Gortan in Lovrin, im Herzen Istriens. Hier können Sie den familiengeführten Weinberg und die Weinkeller besichtigen und einen Blick auf die verschiedenen Rebsorten werfen. Spezialisiert auf Malvasia, Gelben Muskateller und Cabernet Savignon, werden Sie auch eine Verkostung mit lokalen Snacks genießen.

Set on a compact headland, we'll walk the old Roman streets of Decumanus and Cardo Maximus up to the most important monument in town – the Euphrasian basilica, one of the most beautifully preserved monuments of early Byzantine art in the Mediterranean, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Brijuni Islands National Park

Playground to Habsburg aristocrats, Hollywood legends and Yugoslav leaders, the Brijuni Islands make for an idyllic day trip out from Istria. You'll take a boat across the Fazana Strait and glide into this archipelago of 14 islands and islets.
