Beschreibung

Eine Tour in den nördlichen Teil Zyperns ist eine gute Möglichkeit, etwas über die ereignisreiche Geschichte der Insel zu erfahren. Diese abwechslungsreiche Tour führt zu einer Reihe historischer Highlights, von der Altstadt von Famagusta über die archäologische Stätte von Salamis bis hin zu einem der ältesten Schiffswracks der Welt. Es ist in einer beeindruckenden Burg untergebracht, und auch das Museum beherbergt viele andere ungewöhnliche Exponate, darunter einige der ältesten Oliven, Trauben, Feigen und Linsen, die je gefunden wurden."

Zum Auftakt erkunden Sie die ummauerte Altstadt von Famagusta mit einem Tourguide, der die beeindruckende Geschichte zum Leben erweckt. Famagusta ist bekannt für sein imposantes Ensemble mittelalterlicher Architektur und war einst ein glanzvolles Juwel des östlichen Mittelmeers. Danach geht es weiter ins nahe gelegene Salamis, ein Muss für Geschichtsinteressierte. Salamis ist eine der größten und bedeutendsten archäologischen Stätten Zyperns, und bietet Ihnen einen Einblick in die klassische Vergangenheit der Insel.
