Casa Fado ao Centro is a cultural project created in Coimbra in 2010. All of the musicians and collaborators are or were university students in Coimbra. Decorated with the belongings of the musicians, the walls are lined with history. The concerts are cultural events. In an intimate setting, you will embark on a journey through the unique sound of Fado de Coimbra, and through the most important moments in the city's history. Cruise through the city of Aveiro on a 45-minute ride onboard a traditional Moliceiro boat. The Berlengas archipelago is situated 16km west of Peniche, a powerful granite block which belongs to the parish of St. Peter, in the Peniche municipality. The archipelago is a protected area that includes various nature reserves and is considered a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2011. Depart from the harbor of Peniche and enjoy a 30-minute ferry ride along the turquoise sea waters. Arrive at the Berlengas harbor from where you will be able to freely explore the archipelago. Start with a visit to the São João Baptista fort built in the 17th-century. This little fort is one of the most visually striking buildings in Portugal. After this, go for a swim at Praia do Carreiro do Mosteiro, the only beach that is accessible and safe to swim from. Next, find the café and restaurant on the island before taking the ferry back to Peniche

Head toward Berlengas Island, an eco-haven with a visitor limit, so you can experience its true beauty without the crowds. We enjoyed the trip from Lisbon to Fátima, Óbidos Medieval, Nazaré Atlantic Coast, the ride was very comfortable. Pedro was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable, respectful of our private prayer time and made our tour thoroughly enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the Candle Museum - very thoughtful of Pedro to include that for us & on the spot translate - very impressive!
