The Story Bridge Climb provides the best 360-degree panoramic view of Brisbane city from the heart and soul of Brisbane’s most iconic landmark – the Story Bridge. Your adventure begins at base camp, directly under the Story Bridge itself. After a quick pre-climb brief, you’ll depart the base and ascend a spiral staircase that leads to the start of the suspended walkway directly beneath the Bradfield Highway (Brisbane's shortest highway). Start to venture up through the inner Eastern bridge arm, climbing level with one of Brisbane’s busiest commute points, and then ascending straight up the south-eastern cantilever arm that stretches over the Brisbane River and reaches up into the sky. Before you know it you’re celebrating with your climb group on the summit platform, where you’ll get your bearings and hear some fun facts about the amazing 360 panoramic view before you. See Brisbane and its surroundings, including the Glass House Mountains, Moreton Bay, and the Scenic Rim. Venturing further along you’ll explore the bridge from a different angle, traveling approximately halfway across the river below before returning to the top platform for a final climb group photo before your descent back to base camp. Every climb to the top includes a group photograph, with additional individual photographs available for purchase afterwards - once your adrenaline has calmed down! See the glittering nighttime lights of Brisbane below - a unique vantage point for such a view with twilight option.

What people are saying about Australia

The boat was very clean the staff very welcoming offering assistance to get on board giving safety advice as to how to safely gain access to upper deck. As I have knees that don’t bend very well we choose the lower deck, being able to have a table with window access. The cabin was spacious and the layout was well throughout. The commentary was entertaining and the captain was very knowledgeable about past and present history the river cruise time went very quickly as we were continually looking at landmarks being pointed out to us. The river cruise Staff very helpful and accommodating. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious the boat was not fully booked on the day we took the cruise. But I think even when fully booked the layout would allow everyone to be accommodated without feeing cramped. Morning tea was provided on our cruise the scones looked delicious but we did not partake as we had had breakfast but other passengers assured us they tasted as good as they looked. 10/10

This all day tour to the Tasman peninsula and Port Arthur was fabulous. Our guide Justin was amazing, hilarious and very knowledgeable. There was a long bush walk to one site on the way which we weren’t expecting but still very well worthwhile. Very much recommend this tour and company. Great communication.

Our day began early. The weather was good. Being picked up and dropped off outside our apartment was so convenient. The trip was a full day of adventure and I was never bored once. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I am so pleased I did the Great Ocean Road tour.

The whole experience was excellent. Alan was very knowledgeable, friendly and a brilliant tour guide.

Lovely boat trip with amazing diving in the coral reef. The crew was 10/10
