Towers, walls, vaulted houses, ancient churches, chapels and convents, testify, with its rich medieval mercantile houses of the aristocracy, the historical past of Amalfi.  Come to the 'so-called' piazzetta right in the center of Atrani from where you can admire a beautiful view. Start in the Flavio Gioia Square, with the statue in marble of the inventor of the compass. View the Arsenale and visit the big and graceful historic center with an overwhelmingly beautiful St. Andrew's Cathedral (or Duomo) in the Arab-Sicilian style dedicated to Saint Andrew, the apostle and a patron saint of Amalfi whose relics are kept here. Visit the Fountain of Sant'Andrea with marble sculptures of Saint Andrea and marine gods carved in the 18th century. View the narrow medieval alleys densely sorrounded by souvenir shops and limoncello. Walk up to the characteristic Atrani. Stop for a panoramic view at the cemetery of the ancient monastery of San Lorenzo. Arrive to Piazza Atrani and visit Chiesa di San Salvatore de’ Birecto. End your visit with a 5 minute walk to return on foot downtown to Amalfi.

The Amalfi coast is one of the most beautiful sceneries and must be in our top 10 from around the world. The trip had 3 visits to the towns and a lunch. The stops are a little limited by time but as there are 3 and a lunch stop it would be too long a day if they were any longer. You can see the highlights of the towns in the time but don’t dawdle. We did an extra boat trip along Amalfi which was excellent and so pleased we added this. Again our guide was informative but not as essential on this type of trip but always very handy to ask key questions. The drive along the roads can be a little startling for the more nervous of passengers.

Beautiful sceneries. The best is the boat ride (which is extra) to see the coastline from another perspective! The couple of stops are at shopping areas. kudos to the driver barreling down the winding narrow roads! Hope you don’t get carsick.

This was an amazing trip. Whole day was full of beautiful views and interesting stories. The gide Ricardo is super-cool!I highly reccomend this trip. Worth every penny what we spent. Will definately use this service again.

Very well organized, Roberto a pleasant companion with lots of interesting information. Guided tour in Pompeii too short, you have to go there again if you want it in detail

Absolutely wonderful. Anna was amazing and a great commentator throughout the trip. Everything was organized and planned in a way that didn’t seem too overwhelming.
