    1. From Zurich: Day Trip to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe

Explore the snow-capped mountains of Jungfraujoch, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2007 for its stunning High Alps scenery, and as the site of Europe’s largest glacier. It is also Europe's highest train station. The scenic coach journey takes you along the Brünig Pass and the shores of Lake Brienz to the Bernese Oberland. After a break in Interlaken, board the cable car at the Grindelwald Terminal for a spectacular 15-minute ride to the Eiger Glacier by gondola. From there, exchange to a cogwheel train that will take you to the peak of Jungfraujoch. Enjoy the stunning views of the triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau as you ride. Once at the top of Jungfraujoch, immerse yourself in the High-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow and rock. Experience the adventure tour “Alpine Sensation,” marking the 100-year anniversary of the Jungfrau Railway, and visit the Sphinx Obser...

  • Zurich: Full-Day Haute Route Hike

    2. Zurich: Full-Day Haute Route Hike

After gathering at Zurich central station, begin with a 1-hour train ride through the beautiful countryside. Following that, a leisurely chairlift takes you up to 1,300 meters as you enjoy the magnificent scenery along the way. Once at the station at the top, enjoy a small coffee break at a little restaurant before setting off eastwards along the trail. The route takes you along mountain paths and narrow alpine roads, past extensive alpine pastures and through forests of spruce and mountain pines. If you like, you can choose to grill some sausages at a beautiful “Swiss Family” grill spot. The soil along the trail is wet, acidic, and barren, which allows sun dew, cotton grass, sedges to grow. Along the drier edges, look out for blueberries and alpine roses. This is also an ideal habitat to find a variety of algae, frogs, mountain newts, and insects, especially on sloped moorland where s...

This is a no-brainer for a trip to Zurich. Do not visit there without looking into this. The usage of the train and tram systems alone are worth every cent, let alone all of the other inclusions (boat excursion on the Lake, funicular, etc.). Our trip would not have been the same if we didn't have the Zurich Cards.

Great deal for roundtrip train from airport to Zurich HB. Free boat tour and free entrance to national history museum. Since I used it for a 11 hour layover I didn’t try use it in other zones

Exceptional value in this card - even just for the transportation. Add in the other features and how can you not buy it?????

Helps a lot with getting around the city, from trams, buses and boats. Great value
