Zakynthos: Turtle Spotting Cruise on a Glass-Bottom Boat

1. Zakynthos: Turtle Spotting Cruise on a Glass-Bottom Boat

After being picked up from your accommodation, set off to begin your 3-hour eco-friendly turtle spotting cruise. Climb aboard a special glass-bottomed boat and embark on your journey through the National Marine Park surrounding the island.  Make a photo stop at the famous Cameo Islet, which was created by the 1633 earthquake. Take unique photos (guaranteed sightings) of the turtles from up close, and take the opportunity to swim amongst them in their natural habitat.  After this, explore the enchanting Keri Caves, and pass underneath the “Kamares”, before enjoying another swimming opportunity in the clear waters. Finally, arrive at the turtle-shaped island of Marathonisi. Swim and have fun at the Golden Nesting Beach which is home to the loggerhead sea turtle Caretta Caretta. You will also have the chance to admire the stunning caves.

When you are on Zakynthos, you must allow yourself and your partner / husband / boyfriend or family to have this experience of watching the caretta caretta turtle and swimming and jumping in the sea whenever you can and then enjoy the boat trip and see Zakynthos from the sea

Total value for money, we saw the turtles ,great trip around the coast visiting sea caves ,stop for a swim and ended up on turtle island for 50 minutes explore/ swim or enjoy a beer Brilliant day thanks

We loved this experience! It’s a smaller boat and you had time to swim and take your time. Seeing the turtle was really neat. We liked this better than our trip to shipwreck beach

Perfect for our last day with a late flight. Couldn't recommend more highly. Particularly impressed that it was rescheduled to the afternoon for better weather conditions.

Amazing experience! Really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend! Very friendly host!
