Full description

Start your Zakynthos tour with a pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned minibus. Drive north to Xingia and stop for breathtaking coastal views and photo opportunities. When you reach the northern tip of the island, you’ll be greeted by the famous windmills.

From their high vantage point, look down on the Blue Caves below. Then, discover the Blue Caves from the inside on a small tour boat and pass underneath their arches. Take the chance to swim in the vibrant blue waters.

Further along the coast, board a speed boat at Navagio’s Shipwreck Cove and gaze down into the sea through the boat’s glass bottom. Swim in turquoise waters for a leisurely hour. Be inspired by the breathtaking view of the world-famous shipwreck beach from above.

Visit a market with local traditional products such as wine, olive oil, raki, nuts, fruits, honey, local cheese, and preserves. Try free samples and buy treats to take home. If you’re hungry, indulge in Greek food at Michalis, a traditional local taverna at Kampi (not included).

At the end of your island day trip, the driver will take you back to your hotel.

It was a fun day! Shipwreck beach was cool (although a bit touristy), but it was fun to swim through the blue caves, the drive between stops was pretty, we stopped at a small shop on the side of the road with homemade greek products with free samples, zigia beach was gorgeous, and we had lunch at a traditional greek tavern that was amazing, authentic, and had a beautiful scenic overlook.

Our tour guide was extremely friendly and made sure that we got the best views of the shipwreck. However, they did drive very crazy and made me feel sick! We went to the shipwreck at 9am and it was freezing on the boat, they told us that this was because the cove would be quieter at this time however I think everyone thinks this and so the cove was busy... and when we saw the shipwreck later that day from the top of the cliffs we could see that it was quieter so I think they should go later in the day as it will also be warmer on the boat in the afternoon. Also I would ask how many is in the group as we had a 11 girls aged 18 with myself and boyfriend and they were so annoying! Overall definitely get moneys worth because you see 75% of island, and I would just recommend asking to go later to the shipwreck and who else will be with your group as you are with them for 8 hours!

We had a very nice day, with a super guide!! We left at 8 o'clock to be at the shipwreck viewpoint around 9 o'clock. We were the first here so nice and quiet and plenty of time to take pictures. Afterwards a nice mini-tasting in a local village, being able to enjoy the view at Xigia beach (this was also the first swimming stop of the 4). Then we went by boat to shipwreck beach and we went swimming at/in the beautiful caves. To conclude, we went to have dinner in Kampi, which again had a beautiful view. Highly recommended!!
