Full description
Set sail from Porto Vromi Maries and sail to Navagio Beach, voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Famous for its shipwreck, Navagio Beach also boasts crystal clear waters and the staggering natural color combinations that make up a landscape to excite every visitor. Only accessible by sea, the beach (also known as "Shipwreck Beach") is legendary as the site of the wreck of the MV Panagiotis that ran aground and washed up on the sand in 1980. Get up close to the boat following a short 15-minute cruise from the port of Porto Vromi Maries. Then, enjoy at least 1 hour to soak up the Mediterranean sun at the beach. Ask the captain to stay longer without extra charge if you wish! Return towards Porto Vromi Maries and stop for a swim at the blue caves, the hidden beach of  Sfogio or the paradise beach of Porto Steniti. See the natural formations of the “Neptune Profile” cave before getting dropped off at the port of Porto Vromi Maries. The total trip duration is at least 2.5 to 3 hours but can be extended upon request, depending on how long you want to stay on "Shipwreck Beach."

This trip was perfect as described. The hour you spend at Navagio Beach is just right so that it doesn't lag or get boring. On the way back to port (there are no bathrooms at the port BTW, so use the one on the boat) you stop at several caves, pulling into them with a brief photo op. The boat stops just off from another beach for some snorkeling and swimming around. Lastly, it pulls into a narrow Porto for more swimming which I enjoyed, but many folks opted to stay on the boat for this one as they were fatigued from the day. All in all a great day and exactly what I wanted from this trip.

We were going to pay 400 euros for a boat tour from Kerri but decided to do a shorter one to go see shipwreck beach. It was affordable and totally worth it! We had an hour at shipwreck beach then stopped to swim at 2 different locations, one a cave, and one an inlet. My highlight was snorkeling in the cave! I would definitely recommend this excursion.
