Cruise past residential areas to the island’s northern tip. Admire the lighthouse and surrounding islands as you sail to the famous Blue Caves. Be amazed by the aquamarine waters — at around 4,5000 meters deep, this area is the deepest part of the Mediterranean. Continue to Navagio Beach to see the wrecked ship on the sand, and a stop for a swim in the clear blue waters. Cruise along the coast and stop for another swim, before returning to the port. Spend the day touring Zakynthos in a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes minivan. Swim and snorkel in crystal waters and even venture into the Blue Caves for incredible views. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch in a typical Greek tavern and visit a traditional olive oil factory for a tasting.  The day begins with pickup from Zakynthos and the surrounding areas. The first stop of the day is Bohali hill to take in splendid views of the sea and town below. Next, head to Alykes beach, the place where the locals used to collect salt. Finally, continue to Xigia beach, where the springs provide a natural spa. In the second part of the tour, join a small group of 15-25 people and take a 3-hour cruise to Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves. After pickup at your hotel, head to Kalamaki beach on Zante's southern shores. Enjoy the pristine beach with soft sand and warm waters, protected by National Marine Park. See where the endangered loggerhead sea turtles nest. You may spot tiny baby turtles breaking out of their shells. Next, head to Laganas beach to board the glass-bottom boat. Sail to the Keri Caves, carved by time, tides, and wind. Follow the coastline, admiring the white beaches, rock arches, forested hills, and enormous limestone cliffs that fall into the sea. Explore the history of olive oil making on the island with experts.  Enjoy free tasters of local olives and traditional bread with different flavored extra virgin olive oils (most likely lemon, orange, and garlic). Take a sample of olive oil shampoo, soap, body cream, or face cream. You can also buy these products to support local businesses.

After you're picked up from your hotel or nearby accommodation, your guide will share with you the day's tour plan. Following this you will explore the north-east of Zakynthos Island, with time for photo stops in Katastari (with panoramic views of Alykes Beach), Xigia beach (a natural spa with sulfur and collagen) and Makris Gialos Beach (a crystal clear and rocky beach). Start with pickup from your hotel and discover the highlights of the southern region of Zakynthos. The first stop will be at the Argassi Bridge which was constructed in 1885. This bridge is now situated off the coast of the island but was once a river crossing. Then, stop at Kalamaki Beach to learn about the turtle nests in the area. Next, embark on a 3-hour boat cruise from the port in the town of Laganas. Stop at the nearby island of Marathonisi where you can admire its beautiful caves and white sand beaches. Keep a look out for the Caretta turtles who inhabit the surrounding waters. Continue by sailing to the Keri Caves located on the southern coast of Zakynthos, where you can enjoy a stop for swimming. 6. From Zakynthos: Kefalonia Island Full Day Tour by Bus & Boat

At the start of this day trip to Kefalonia Island, you will be picked up from your resort and will be taken to the port in Zakynthos Town to board the boat. After the approximately one-hour ferry ride, the first stop on the island tour will be the monastery of St. Gerassimos, considered one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Kefalonia and situated under the imposing Mount Ainos. Next, the tour will head to the impressive Drogorati Cave, located outside of Sami, with its fine stalactites and stalagmites - experts estimate that the cave is about 150 million years old! A natural balcony was created in 1953 from an earthquake, which overlooks a chamber of about 100 square metres of floor space, making it possible to hold concerts for up to 500 people. The tour will then continue on to Melissani Lake and Cave.  Explore by boat the cave's stalactites, which are over 20,000 years old. Following a roof cave-in, an impressive sight has been created causing the colours of the water to be reflected onto the walls of the cave. Lunch will be at the town of Agia Efimia, a wonderful town with a small harbour. After lunch, the drive continues towards Myrtos Bay, one of Kefalonia's most famous beaches, for a photo-stop. Finally, a visit to Argostoli, the capital city of Kefalonia, will be an opportunity for refreshments, relaxing in the square or taking a walk to explore the town before reboarding the bus. The ferry will arrive back at the port in Zakynthos at about 7:00 PM.

Start your Zakynthos tour with a pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned minibus. Drive north to Xingia and stop for breathtaking coastal views and photo opportunities. When you reach the northern tip of the island, you’ll be greeted by the famous windmills. From their high vantage point, look down on the Blue Caves below. Set sail from Porto Vromi Maries and sail to Navagio Beach, voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Famous for its shipwreck, Navagio Beach also boasts crystal clear waters and the staggering natural color combinations that make up a landscape to excite every visitor. Only accessible by sea, the beach (also known as "Shipwreck Beach") is legendary as the site of the wreck of the MV Panagiotis that ran aground and washed up on the sand in 1980. Get up close to the boat following a short 15-minute cruise from the port of Porto Vromi Maries. Then, enjoy at least 1 hour to soak up the Mediterranean sun at the beach. Ask the captain to stay longer without extra charge if you wish! Return towards Porto Vromi Maries and stop for a swim at the blue caves, the hidden beach of  Sfogio or the paradise beach of Porto Steniti. See the natural formations of the “Neptune Profile” cave before getting dropped off at the port of Porto Vromi Maries. The total trip duration is at least 2.5 to 3 hours but can be extended upon request, depending on how long you want to stay on "Shipwreck Beach."

Climb aboard a special glass-bottomed boat and embark on your journey through the National Marine Park surrounding the island.  Make a photo stop at the famous Cameo Islet, which was created by the 1633 earthquake. A great tour. Fortunately, the great beach with the shipwreck wasn't that full. Doesn't have to be beautiful in summer anymore. Great the later view from above. The only critical point (other than in the description) was we with a relatively large ship (about 25-30 guests) instead of the booked 10. Allegedly because of the weather (wind / waves). But I couldn't really understand because there were many other smaller boats on the way.

Truly amazing! Great boat, captain and 3 hours was just the right amount of time. So much fun :)

Zakis was a fantastic and safe guide/driver. We had a great time with our 4 yr. old. Thank you!
