Leave Zagreb and head to the Lika region. The first stop on the itinerary is the picturesque watermill village of Rastoke, located at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Take a stroll through the town to admire the unique rural architecture. The tour continue on to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This is Croatia’s oldest and most visited national park, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. For centuries, water has formed waterfalls and created 16 crystal-clear lakes in this area. Enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the forest landscape and the lakes that are connected by a series of waterfalls. Board an electric boat to cross Lake Kozjak and learn more about karst formations and the abundant animal life in the park. Become one with nature, enjoy the clean fresh air and marvel at the breathtaking views that surround you. Our guide, Renato, was excellent. Took care of us and made sure our every need was met. Gave us loads of information on what we were seeing and on any relative topic we brought up. He also gave us restaurAant tips in Zagreb as well as information on other locations we were visiting. Highly recommend this trip and especially Renato.

We loved the trip! Matt , our driver, is an awesome guy who seems to really love his job. from the first moment he made us feel comfortable, he made sure to convey us his enthusiasm, he made us laugh, we had nice conversations about the country and he gave us very useful tips. It was a pleasure to meet him. the place is definitely worth a visit. It was the highlight of our travel to Zagreb.

We had a great time. Our trip was in a van with a total of 7 guests. The stop at the small village was like stepping into a fairy tail. Our guide Mat was very knowledgeable and shared a lot about Croatia, Zagreb and the national park. We were able to visit 15 of the 16 lakes and Mat knew the best routes to take and took great pictures at all the great photo spots. Our tour was definitely fast paced, but it was worth it to cover as much of the park as possible. It was a very convenient way to see the park and we enjoyed having a guide and small group transportation. It’s probably one of the most efficient and comfortable ways to see Plitvice in one day.
