    Visit  Plitvice National Park on a full-day tour departing from Zadar. Granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979, Plitvice is marked on old maps as the “Devil’s Garden" and consists of 16 interconnected terraced lakes gushing over moss-covered rocks. Depart from Zadar early and drive for about 1 hour and 45 minutes before reaching Plitvice National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna, including wild boar, wolves, and even bears. Once at the national park, begin your 4-hour guided tour, visiting Upper and Lower lakes and enjoying the unspoiled nature of one of the most beautiful national parks in the world.

    Although you can’t swim in the protected lakes, your guide will show you the best places to explore and relax in this paradise of natural wonders. Your tour also includes an electric boat ride on Kozjak Lake. Return to Zadar at around 18:00.

    • Due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus preventative measures, all participants will be required to sanitize their hands and have their temperature taken before boarding. It is mandatory to wear a protective mask during the activity
    • This activity will have a capacity of 40% of the usual group size to allow social distancing
    • Flip flops are not permitted
    • Warm clothes are recommended because the temperature in the Park may be cooler than in Zadar
    • Plitvice has a very different climate from Zadar; please check the weather forecast before your trip and dress accordingly with waterproof gear in case of rain
    • The charge of the National Park is 180kn. From April 1 to May 31 is €24
    • From June 1 to September 30 is 300kn
    • From June 1 to September 30 is €40 with 50% off for children 7-18 years, entrance for children under 7 years is free of charge

    This was an amazing experience! We loved every part of it and as our guide said, it was memorable. The park is heavenly beautiful and very well protected. It was a good choice to go with an organized tour, as we got many useful insights. You should take into consideration that the park is in the continental part of Croatia and when we went, there was a 15 degrees temperature difference between Plitvice and Zadar (from 30 to 15). A bit cold, but fortunately, there is a souvenir shop that sells hoodies.

    Great tour. Beautiful place. Trip is excellent. The best guide, Mr. Ante is very well organised. If you really skip the line and just avoid as much as possible the crowd, just book a trip with Ante. Ps. Don"t get stupid and still have with you flip flops ! You risk injuries.

    Beautiful day trip exploring Plitvice National Park! We had a great tour guide that had a good balance between explaining and letting us explore. Although it was quite busy and the pathways are narrow, you get distracted by the incredible beauty this park has! Definitely worth the long bus ride and the crowd.
