A very busy two days. Our guide, Valeria from Marina Wilson Tours, was very informative and gave us a wonderful experience of St Petersburg. There were only the two of us on the tour so we had the personal attention of our guide and driver. Entry to Catherine's Palace and the Hermitage was very speedy and 'beat the crowds'. Lunches were excellent and in unusual restaurants rather than the usual mass cratering of most tours.

Fantastic guide, but missed a key attraction due to local event

Katya was a terrific guide - very knowledgeable and informative. Unfortunately there was a major parade in St Petersburg on day two of our tour which meant we missed out on seeing one of the major attractions (Peterhof) due to road closures. Despite Katya's best efforts to convince military guards to allow us to access our boat we were not able to...

Olga was very informative, and proud of her country. The small group of 10 turned out to be just the 2 of us and the driver and guide. We had grate time seeing the sights, and learning bout Russia.

Wonderful, packed experience of all major sites.

Virtually private tour (1 other couple) was visa free, convenient alternative to cruise excursion options. Marina Wilson and her guide were well organized, well informed and friendly.
