Friendly loading process followed by a really well presented tour, the boat captain had a lovely presentation style and a laid back attitude. We were relaxed by his style...and I bet that he tells every tour that this is his first turning of the boat in a narrower part of the river, but it's charming.
Our guide Alfred was extremely knowledgeable about York and its history and he made our visit such a lovely time. His historic background was a big plus et we learnt a lot. The tour was well-balanced between explanations and walks. Highly recommended
It was a well organised excursion despite the weather it was very enjoyable. The crew were fantastic and provided a brilliant service with a first class guide and tour of the rover ouse and its bridges and surrounding areas.
Great experience. Was a rainy day but still worth the money. Could have light refreshments on board and the tour guide was really good explaining the tour.
Risk free environment provided by excellent staff, pleasant experience, the skipper even spotted and pointed out a kingfisher!
