This was a fun way to spend an hour and a bit one evening. Often, as a tourist, there is less to do in the evenings aside from the normal dining out / drinking activity, and this made a refreshing change. I think you can also do this by yourself without feeling too odd. The guide had great energy and kept us engaged throughout the whole experience and we learned a lot too, even if we couldn't always clearly see all the sights (to be expected when driving in the ghostly dark of a November evening).

The experience was excellent, the guide was fantastic and entertaining throughout the journey around York. This is a great option for both adults and children, I would definitely recommend it when visiting the city. If I had any issues it was that despite there being information to those booking that masks were required on board, virtually no one wore one.

Good fun & nice introduction to York on our 1st night. Would be better if the table lights were turned off during the talks as they made it difficult to see out of the windows !

Great tour. More humour than scares but really enjoyable. The ‘conductor’ was brilliant and shared wonderfully spooky stories of York’s ghosts, tragic deaths and more.

Absolutely worth it! The staff were fantastic and very enthusiastic! Definitely worth a trip on the necrobus!
