The guide and driver were very good with their job. However I feel there needs to be a warning for children especially because of the potential for altitude sickness on the drive. My son is 12 and he moved through it pretty good (vomiting 5 times) but the seven-year-old of the other family did not do so well. I feel there needs to be some information about how to prepare for altitude sickness. Otherwise the day and the adventure was amazing! And I really appreciated our guide and driver.
Even though it was a long day it was well worth it. I would only suggest shorten the stops for lunch and hot springs. We got back to Arequipa in the height of traffic and we sat in traffic too long after an already long bus ride.
Didn't know what to expect from this trip, but it was so cool! The condors were amazing to see, we learned so much, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Awesome trip to take if you have the time, very worthwhile. Loved it!
