From downtown Xi'an you'll head to the Terracotta Warrior Museum with your expert guide. Discover the amazing terracotta warriors that were buried for more than 2,000 years and hear interesting stories about China's first emperor - Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259–210 B.C.). You will visit 3 pits in the museum. Pit 1 is the largest and is estimated to house around 6,000 figures, as well as a great quantity of bronze weaponry. In pit 2 it is estimated that the terracotta warriors and horses amount to 1,300 figures. However, the great variety makes it the top-rated among all 3 pits. Pit 3 is the smallest with only 72 terracotta warriors and horses.  The bronze chariot pit exhibits 2 painted bronze chariots, representing Emperor Qin Shi Huang's vehicles. The bronze chariots are the earliest, largest, and best-preserved bronze artifacts in the world. Next, you'll be transferred from the museum to a viewpoint where you can view the whole area of the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang. As the scale of the excavated terracotta army area only occupies about 5% of the whole mausoleum, 95% of the mausoleum is still buried and its contents remain secret. Afterwards, it's time for lunch to try some local delicacies.  After lunch, you'll be driven back to Xi'an for the next destination: the Xi'an Ancient City Wall. The wall was first built during the Ming Dynasty (1370–1378 A.D.) and is the largest and the best-maintained ancient city wall in China. There are 4 major gates and your visit will start from East Gate (Chang Le Gate). You have 3 options when visiting: you can choose to walk, cycle or to take an eco-car along the city wall. After this visit, you will head to Xi'an's famous Muslim Street, where you'll see lots of featured foods and snacks.
