Full description
Drive through Wroclaw in an electric car and discover the history and attractions of the city in a comfortable and environmentally friendly way. Start the tour at the Market Square, one of the largest flower markets of Wroclaw. First, explore the area surrounding the marketplace, starting with the Jewish quarter with the White Stork Synagogue, then continue on to St. Elizabeth’s Church, home of the famous Wroclaw dwarfs and the large butchers’ stalls with a copper monument to the animals. See the old city jail and the University of Wroclaw with the Fencer Fountain. Learn more about the Wroclaw students before continuing on to the Monastery of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star. Admire the Matthias High School and Wroclaw Pier, which is the perfect starting point for a boat or gondola ride on the Oder River. Explore Cathedral Island and visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, where you can see the Baroque Chapel of St. Elizabeth and the Elector’s Chapel. Drive over the Peace Bridge and take a look at Grunwaldzki Bridge and the Water Tower. Afterwards, see the Iglica, which represents the landmark of the city together with the Centennial Hall. At the Pergola, find a multimedia fountain with water displays late into the night. Then, head back along the Oder promenade, passing by Gondola’s Bay and the National Museum. Drive along Szewska Street to St. Mary Magdalene Church and hear the legend of the Poor Sinner Bell and the Witches’ Bridge. Head down Świdnicka Street and past Wroclaw Opera to return back to the marketplace.
