The walk to the stones is lovely and well worth taking but I had a frail companion who ,whilst she loved the walk , could have done with a chair to rest half way but apparently it is national trust land not land belonging to English heritage ! There was a drone circling the stones making a ghastly humming noise . We asked the guards if they could remove it and they said it was beyond their control as the drone was being operated by someone off site . This is a shame as it slightly spoiled the atmosphere .

Definitely worth a visit. Easy to park, free parking if already purchased a ticket in advance. We walked rather than taking the bus. Nice walk. We'll organised and maintained. Nice facilities and interesting exhibition

I always fancied going to Stonehenge and I wasn’t disappointed I really enjoyed it. The thought of our ancestors Getting the stones there is unbelievable. The museum was informative. And lots of gift to buy in shop.

Perfect day out for the last minute traveller ….. We felt a true realism that with all the troubles today it’s not that bad ….. We all have it too easy compared to our ancestors…….

Stonehenge was on my bucket list. And I wasn’t disappointed enjoyed every moment. Would throughly recommend.
