What people are saying about Western Romania

You see a lot of Romania in 2 days.

Our guide, Vali, spoke excellent English and was a great driver. He gave us a lot of information about life in Romania in the last 35 years. When we reached Sibiu, Sighisoara, Brasov, Bran and Sinaia our guide knew where to park to minimize walking. The 2 of us plus our guide were in a 5 person van. I loved the Transfagarasan Road. I've never been on a road with 10 avalanche sheds before. If you have any motion sickness or fear of height you might want to ask for an alternative route. They use various hotels in Sighisoara. You should check your big suitcase in your Bucharest hotel and bring only what you need overnight, as we did, because you cannot assume there will be an elevator. Our hotel,Hotel Rex, had no elevator so we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. The window barely opened so at the end of August we were very hot. Breakfast began at 8AM but the coffee pot was broken so it took 30 minutes to get coffee. It was all part of the adventure.

I originally booked the seven canyons tour but it was closed due to the walkways being damaged days before by storms. Within the hour of booking they got back to me and gave me multiple alternative options. I chose a full day hike to Piatra Mare. The guides on the day were fantastic. I had a great time, they were super friendly and very knowledgeable on the region. Highly recommend a trip with these guys.

Me and my husband didn’t feel very well on the day of the trip, but Andrei made sure he made our day brilliant. He has a lot of knowledge, and so happy to share with us his knowledge. Is worth for the money you pay to have a private car take you everywhere around. Highly recommended to choose this trip with Andrei. Thank you so much for the wonderful time we had in Romania!

Great guide

Really enjoyed the two day tour, but didn't have time for the wine tasting as advertised. That was the major reason we selected the particular tour. Otherwise was great.

Great day with a very nice guide who adapts the day according to our wishes! Incredible landscapes! To recommend without hesitation!
