    1. Húsafell: Langjökulll Glacier Ice Cave Tour

Experience Iceland’s second-largest glacier from the inside and enjoy the rare sight of blue ice at the heart of an ice cap glacier on this half-day tour.  All tours depart from Húsafell, from where you will catch a shuttle to the Glacier Base Camp, Klaki. You will meet a professional guide and gear up in warm overalls if needed, before boarding a specially-modified glacier truck for the drive up to the cave entrance. Arriving at the cave entrance, head inside the glacier with your guide. The man-made Langjökull Glacier Tunnel is a wonder to behold. The ice is lit up from behind by glowing hues, allowing you to see the layers that have formed over many years. What people are saying about Western Region, Iceland

Great experience! The adventure begins with the drive over the ice in the specially prepared vehicle. Everything was well organized. Our tour guide did a really great job and guided us through the tour in a very personable way! As expected, it is wet in the glacier, but the right clothing will ensure that you stay dry :)

This was a remarkable tour up to and into the glacier. Be ready for the cold and dress for cold and wet conditions. Our guide and drivers were amazing!! Memory of a lifetime!!!

The tour was impressive and fun. Also a little reminder that we are responsible if we can no longer visit such great glaciers because they no longer exist

Very nice tour and great guide, can only recommend. The guide was friendly and adapted to the group, we had a great time.

Amazing experience! Everything went beyond well! We saw everything we wanted. Great attention and service!
