3. Wellington Craft Brewery Half-Day Guided Tour with Tastings

The tour starts with a coastal drive around the western edge of Wellington Harbour, heading for Beertown in Upper Hutt. Have a taster of the available beers on tap, some of which include ingredients unique to New Zealand. Next stop is another member of the Brewtown family, Panhead Brewery. Panhead is New Zealand's very own craft brewing monster truck rally, putting the frighteners on anyone who thinks beer should mind its own business and cower behind the wine rack. Launched in 2013 out of the old Dunlop tyre factory in darkest Maidstone, they were embraced enthusiastically from the get go by Wellington's beer cognoscenti. Your next encounter takes you Baylands Brewery for a tasting of their tap beers and a look through their extensive range of home brewing supplies. The final tasting stop is at Tuatara Temple of Taste – The Third Eye where you will enjoy a shared tasting paddle of your choice in the Tuatara small batch brewery in Wellington city centre.

If you like food and wine, then this tour is a must do! We had a great day out with our guide Phil, learnt alot about the area and it's History, and were spoilt with great cheese, food and wine. Found out all about Olive tree's and olive's in general really, was a great and informative tour by John. Thanks again Phil for an amazing day out in Martinborough.

Phil was knowledgeable about the region and very friendly. Despite a number of road closures due to flooding he contacted the different venues to rearrange time frames so we did not miss out on anything. The brewery was closed that day, so Phil arranged an additional winery for tastings. Would definitely recommend these guys.

This was a truly super experience. Jon Salter took us to places you would NEVER find on your own. Highly recommend this walking tour. Coming back for the Cocktail Tour ..... sounds awesome to us!!!

Had an amazing time and learnt lots. Met so many lovely people who showcased their products very well. Phil was an excellent tour guide and it was really well organized. Would highly recommend.

Phil was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and a grand host, and works hard for his guests.
