My family and I were very happy and pleased with our tour. I booked the tour because my family were visiting from out of state and wanted to experience the historical history of our Capital. In addition, we were all excited about visiting the African American Museum. Our tour guide, was Amazing, Informative and thoroughly explained the History of statues, landmarks and key factors impacting the decisions made by the wars and constitution impacting our world today. I would highly recommend GetYourGuide tour services, you will definitely will not be disappointed and will walk away with more history knowledge that you came with.

Wonderful, engaging tour with Dr Gibson. We enjoyed her energy, her anecdotes, and her enthusiasm. The time flew by so quickly and we are eager to tour again with her. She is knowledgeable without being pretentious and made everyone in our small group feel special for being part of the important journey we took around DC. What a meaningful way to experience a small piece of African American history in DC prior to entering the African American Museum.

It was definitely worth it! Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and very relatable! He was a graduate of Howard University and we came for my niece’s graduation from Howard! It was like walking with a very informed family member because although he gave us a lot of valuable history, he was quite personable and made it impactful to our diverse family audience!!!
