Muggles may not be allowed inside the real Hogwarts, but Harry Potter fans will rejoice at the chance to explore the Warner Brothers Studio, where all the movies were shot. Here are five magical highlights from the Harry Potter universe that await you.
Step aboard the real Hogwarts Express steam engine used in the films and relive Harry's magical rides to Hogwarts – just for those who know how to get to Platform 9 3/4, of course.
Visit the movie sets: if you always wanted to walk across the Great Hall, snoop through Dumbledore's Office, or hang out in the Gryffindor Common Room, now's your chance!
How does Harry disappear behind the invisibility cloak? Does the Great Hall's ceiling really reflect the sky? Find out all the secrets behind the movie's magical special effects.
Over 200 magical creatures were created for the films. You'll get the chance to meet house elves and the Gringotts goblins, and to say hi to Hagrid's friends, Buckbeak and Aragog.
What would a wizard be without his robes, wands, and cauldrons? These and countless other magical items from across the series are on display.
Activity Passports are available for free from the info desk by the entrance. If you're there with kids, definitely grab one as it includes fun activities such as a Golden Snitch hunt and six passport stamps to collect throughout the studio – a great souvenir to take home!
If you're coming by public transport, take the train to Watford Junction and from there, ride the Harry Potter double decker bus to the studios. It's a more convenient way to get there than by regular transport, as it's cheap, the buses come roughly every 10 minutes, and they drop you directly at the entrance to the studios.

What people are saying about Warner Bros. Studio London
Direct tickets for HP Warner Brothers sell out nearly 4-6 months in advance; this option was a last resort option for not knowing the popularity of the place. The surprise was that the drive worked out well. It was a clean van with a driver that got us back and forth without any issues. London travel is a hassle via public transportation and foreign travelers simply should not drive. Warner brothers is nearly an hour drive outside of the city pick-up point (Baker Street) so frankly it was worth the price. Meeting somebody outside a Starbucks seems weird but rest assure a man with a Harry Potter hat and a list of booked names made it happen. As for the HP Warner visit it’s on par if not better than Universal in Orlando.
This was a terrific tour. Be sure to get your tickets early as they sell out, and there are very limited entry to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter behind the scenes experience. I can't tell you how many times we heard in London that people tried to get tickets but it was sold out. I loved how this was a self-guided tour, because it allowed my daughter and me to take our time and focus on the things that interested us most. The bus left on time and was very comfortable and they gave us more than enough time to see the entire attraction, eat and shop. I highly recommend this tour!
This was my first experience & I had the time of my life did not won't it to end at all. Definetly going again & the Whole adventure from the coach trip there & back to the tour was one of my favourite event's I've been on in a very long time. Like I stated I will be booking again to go again next year. I'd recommend this to anyone that's reading this, you won't be disappointed at all & your have the time of your life. ❣️
These tours give you the transport and 3 hours to experience the studio, which is NOT enough!!! We hired the tour a d went with the driver but we decided to go back to London by bus+train because we wanted to stay more than 3 hours. Go by yourself by train + shuttle bus! Just make sure you buy the Studio tickets in advance.
Comfortable and clean ride, our travel was more like 45 minutes each way. It was just a bit disorganized waiting for the car but not a big deal. We left in plenty of time and the driver was very helpful. He gave us his personal cell phone number, bottled waters and he was courteous.
