Experience the thrill of flying on a trial flight around Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains in a dual-control aircraft. No previous experience is necessary as you will be with an experienced pilot/instructor and can take the controls as much or as little as you like.
See stunning views across the mountain range of the Southern Alps out to the West Coast. You’ll then take a sweeping turn over the lake to return to the base at Wanaka airport, skirting past wedge-shaped Mount Iron and the sparkling Clutha River.
Learn the basics of flying a plane in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Everyone can learn to fly whether you’re 10 or 100! With breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Wanaka, the islands, and valleys, you’ll see why this is such a popular global tourist destination.
