    With the New York Explorer pass, we selected the 7 most important sights. Then I started planning the days. I got to know the subway and bus transportation in New York and planned where and how to go. Now I’m nearing the end and enjoying it more and more. I’ve been to the U.S. several times, but I’ve avoided big cities by far so far. However, I was in almost every National Park. I think we will enjoy that too.

    Our tour guide was Jenn. She was amazing! I was in a wheelchair presenting special challenges to Jenn. She was able to make it so my husband and I were able to enjoy the whole tour and not miss anything. Her knowledge, respect, and love for New York shine through and made the tour so interesting. Her ability to answer any question we threw at her was incredible. The best thing besides the beauty of New York was her ability to make our group a little family. The 6 of us left with info about each other and new friendships including our new friendship with Jenn. I highly recommend this tour and I definitely recommend asking for Jenn as your guide.     The guide Jared was very experienced and expressive. But be prepared that if you are not so familiar with US history it may be sometimes difficult to follow.

    After pick up at your hotel or apartment in Manhattan, drive to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn. Walk for 30 to 40 minutes and take pictures of the best-lit houses in New York.
