Our guide Simon [from ASANA Tours] was excellent. Clear voice, well-spoken, friendly and knowledgeable. Toured four wine estates [Kennedy Point, Batch, Awaroa and Stony Ridge]. Each had their wine makers address us and we enjoyed our wine tasting paired with different food selections at the first three culminating with an excellent substantial lunch platter for two at Stony Ridge Each estate had their speciality based on climate, soil and temperature variations; and each wine-maker was passionate about the wine industry on Waiheke Island, but especially about the "uniqueness" of their own estate The good weather added to a wonderful outing, which I would thoroughly recommend

Michael is a Waiheke island resident and was very informed about local culture in addition to his winery knowledge. We enjoyed learning about the economy and tourism in addition to his commentary on island life and landmark sights along the way. Highly recommended our favorite tour from Auckland!!

A great day out with Colin who shared some great information with us as we toured some lovely wineries. Lunch was a little expensive as the wine we had which was more expensive than the included drink was charged as full price rather than just a top up.

We had so much fun. The van was comfortable and clean. The guide was full of great information and the wine tasting experiences were over the top! We enjoyed the day meeting new people and sharing good wine and food.

If you enjoy wine and learning about the process , this is a great experience.
