Full description
A professional guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in Vladivostok, from where you will go by foot or public transport to the city center where your personal walking tour will start. Your tour will begin with one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in the city, the Railway Station, the place where the Trans-Siberian Railway ends. Walking from the station along the central Aleutian Street to the city center, you can look at the 19th century mansions, buildings in the “Stalin Empire” style, the building of the Primorsky Regional Art Gallery and the Museum named after V.K. Arseneva. You will next travel to the most impressive street of Svetlanskaya, which is complete with grand buildings of 19th-20th century design. On this street you will find the Vladivostok GUM, the main post office and the general headquarters of the Siberian flotilla. From here, your guide will take you to the place where the history of the city began, the ship's quay. Many cultural monuments of the country and monuments of military glory are located here. There is the monument ship "Red Pennant", with which the creation of the Soviet Pacific Fleet began, and the submarine "C-56", which destroyed 10 ships during World War II. From Korabelnaya Embankment, you will go to the funicular. The best way to explore the city is to look at it from above. Therefore, the final point of your excursion will be a funicular lift to the Eagle's Nest mound. Rising with your guide to the observation deck, you will see a stunning panorama of the Golden Horn Bay and the entire center of Vladivostok. Your tour will then end here, and your guide will accompany you back to your hotel in Vladivostok.
