Access to this canyon is almost immediate, after walking from the starting point for about 5 minutes, you will reach your first rappel of about 20 meters high. You will descend different rappels where each rappel will be a different adventure since you will have to use different techniques to continue progressing, but don't worry if you don't have experience! Our friendly and qualified canyoning guide will teach you everything what you need to continue the activity safely. Once you have descended the first rappels, you'll begin to observe how this canyon made up of basaltic rock will surround you with its narrow walls. Once you have finished the rappels, you will begin to ascend a small hill surrounded by the endemic and special canary pine trees that will take you back to the point where your adventure began!

Pass the characteristic town of Vilaflor (the highest town hall in Spain, 1,400 meters) and visit the ''Pino Gordo'', a large pine tree almost 800 years old, a classic example of Canarian Pine. Admire the Dry Lava Formation, which sprouted from the "nasal cavities of Pico Viejo" (a very old volcano), crossing the path that had to be escaped through the Magma flow. Finally, you will reach Boca Tauce for 1,980 meters to admire the majesty of the Teide volcano with its 3,718 meters of altitude. Then, return to Vilaflor to take a little break and return to Arona. The route is about 70km long and the tour time may change depending on the group. In the last part of the tour, the adrenaline will rise with our off-road (10% off-road). 45km/h is the maximum speed the quad can run. Benefit from a pickup in the south of Tenerife and then drive up to Mount Teide via lovely local villages. Stop for coffee, then at Vilaflor village. First, we’ll drive our way up towards the town of Arona, and to the highest town of Spain Vilaflor. Here we’ll have some time for a short break to walk through the peaceful town and perhaps to enjoy a good-tasting local coffee. After our break, we’ll continue our journey through the enormous pine forest where we’ll be able to get to the largest and very old pine tree “El Pino Gordo” for a photo break. Further on we arrive at the famous place of the park with an amazing landscape of different lava materials, and the great famous rocks named “Roques de García”. Here we’ll have some time to explore the landscape and discover the amazing area. Also, there is a small hotel up there, “Parador de Cañadas del Teide”, a cafeteria and a nice souvenir shop. Later on, we also will pass by the old peak of the Teide “El Pico Viejo” with its huge lava field of over 5 km². Fairly recent with just over 200 years ago. Then we continue to a five hundred years old lava flow from the volcano “Boca Cangrejo”, with the great view to the neighboring island of La Gomera. Thereafter, we drive a little further into the Teide National Park, and we arrive at a place where we have the opportunity to take a short walk to the crater of the Sámara volcano. On the way back to the south, we stop at a fantastic viewpoint of several volcanoes also showing a bizarre volcanic landscape.

The night sky over the Canary Islands, especially as seen from Mount Teide, is known for being one of the best places in the world to admire and study the stars. On this tour you’ll see the constellations and magical shooting stars. Your specialist stargazing guide will help you to understand and enjoy the sky at night from an extraordinary landscape. During the excursion you’ll stop for dinner at Bodegas Reverón in Vilaflor village, at 1,414 meters above sea level.
