Bus was punctual at all stops. We used the yellow, blue and red routes so it gave us a very good overview of the city. We thought the background music of the recording was a little loud and there was too much music and not enough information given. Also there was once or twice where the lefts and rights were mixed up when buildings were being described. Overall experience was good.

This was our very first trip to Vienna, so the Hop-on Hop off bus went some way toward meeting our needs. However, I do not think it was particularly good value for money. Knowing what I now know, I will use the Vienna public transport system, rather than the hop-on, hop-off service on our next trip.

With 5 different routes to use this is a great way to see Vienna. Commentry is provided by electronic audio guide and is available in multiple languages. Multiple employees at each hop on hop of point and 1 on each bus provide an option to ask for some additional information or sugestions. The quality of information may vary according to the guides language and experience. If you intend to go to the castles allow a considerable amount of time ( and extra cash ) if you want a good look. Overall a very good way to get a good overview of the city and an easy way to get around without having to navigate the city's public transport system.
