It was amazing to visit the wine region of the Wachau valley. If you need to see a part of Austria outside of the city of Vienna, this was a great day trip. About an hour drive from Vienna to the first winery (5-6 Tastings). Then a self guided walk through Durnstein old town. Lunch (at a place the tour frequents. Which was very good). Then a winery nearby (10 small tastings, which was more than enough for everyone) Both wineries were very good. Then about 90 mins on a boat on the Danube river which was beautiful and relaxing ((can order food and drinks on the ferry) Tim was our guide. He was very informative about the region from beginning to end. Even did a quick detour to see something a guest wanted to know more about. So worth it! Highly recommend this tour! Make sure you try to get Tim as your guide! I would definitely do another tour with this company!

It is a beautiful part of the country. Melk Abbey is stunning. The guide for the Abbey was very informative. Wachau Valley should not be missed. We plan to stay in the valley next time we visit there. Tasting wines at the local winery taught a lot on the different types of wines.

This trip was wonderful. The guide Thomas was so nice , helpful and professional . The arrangement was so good and the transportation was very comfortable. Small group of eight of us , all nice people. I had a amazing wine tasting trip . The boat trip was beautiful too . Highly recommend to everyone for Thomas and this trip .
