This is a very fun tour, with a mix of various local experiences. Marco was a fantastic guide! The drive to Melk went quickly, and the tour of the Abbey was very cool. A nice lunch was followed by a drive to Wachau Valley, where we learned a tremendous amount of information about one of the world's best wine regions. The wine samplings were very good. Be sure to eat before tasting, as the pours are liberal! The tastings sandwiched a visit to an old town known for its apricot everything. Highly recommended!

Cornelius gave an excellent wine tasting. He was able to combine the history of Vienna with the development of the wine industry. He designed our tasting, based on our preferences. We have lived in Vienna for many years, and he was able to expand our knowledge of Austrian wine. The visit to the historic cellar was self guided.

Very exceptional red and white wines tasted, they were also available for purchase at an unbelievably affordable prices. Seth, the tour-guide was extremely knowledgeable in wines and has good taste. The tour also helps with having other travelers included which makes it very enjoyable.

Even though it was foggy with light rain, the tour of the Wachau was great. Our French tour guide, did a fabulous job teaching us about the wine of this Austrian region. The Melk Abby and the town, and the restaurant for lunch was also a great part of the tour. Would highly recommend!

It was an enjoyable and interesting tour. The abbey in Melk should not be missed. The view during autumn is just beautiful. The tour was enjoyable also mainly due to our tour guide, Marco who have lots to share and created happy and friendly environment among the tour attendees.
