Great wine, eve better location

We tasted wine indoors (because of the sun) and watched the gondolas go by. The host allowed us to taste more than 4 wines and presented us with an appetizer to match with each wine. Towards the evening the host became busy, and began running around and rushing through the experience with everyone. Although this did not effect the service he provided us, I would be upset if I had just arrived and saw him running around and rushing.

Andrea made the wines of Veneto accessible. His knowledge and passion evident as he explained each one. Since we didn’t have time to travel outside of Venice, this was our next option. We enjoyed the tasting in the ambiance of a local Osteria. I’ve been ordering Ribola Gialla instead of looking for Sav Blanc. I like drinking what’s local and enjoying it!
