Full description

The best perspective to admire Venice is from the water, and a gondola is the most traditional and unique way to do this. Discover the city through a guided tour, experiencing how Venetians moved from one district to another in the past. Your gondola journey begins close to Hotel Bauer, a few steps away from St. Mark's Square. Navigate the Grand Canal before crossing toward hidden inner canals that will allow you to admire views that go unnoticed when walking through the city center. Marvel at the majestic Rialto Bridge, one of the most ancient and famous bridges in Venice. Come across famous buildings, such as the tragically-destroyed Gran Teatro 'La Fenice', the majestic Basilica della Salute, and the elegant Palazzo Contarini Fasan, with Gothic architecture.

Return back to St. Mark's Square to disembark your vessel and bid your gondolier farewell.

Yes it has to be done because there is this side of tranquility and calm but the gondoliers are jaded, they speak little except between themselves or on the phone, but we can also understand them because there are so many tourists in Venice. To do once because it's charming despite everything. Sold for 45 minutes (or 40 I don't know anymore) but it lasts about thirty minutes

We spontaneously wanted to postpone the trip due to the rain, which we were verbally assured. Due to the high price, we were initially worried that this promise would not be kept and that we would be left without a trip and money. But everything worked out great, including customer service with the hotline. Therefore very satisfied, absolutely serious. Sure, not cheap, but you can definitely treat yourself to a trip to Venice! The driver spoke great English and was very friendly!

This trip takes you through a few small canals onto the main canal and then back in. It’s just a small round trip. We booked 45 min but I think it was the same route as 30min. Just slower. No passing of the Rialto bridge in this tour. We paid 175 euro, which is probably way too much. Better ask around when you are there. For a better price and better route.
