Full description
Enjoy an enchanting 30-minute gondola ride and appreciate the beauty, charm, and sights of Venice. A gondolier will guide the boat through the calm waters of the old city, passing under ancient bridges as you admire Venice’s architectural masterpieces. See the Basilica della Salute, one of the city’s finest examples of baroque architecture. It was built to seek the intervention of the Virgin Mary in the eradication of the plague during the 17th century. Enjoy the ride as your gondolier navigates the picturesque minor canals of Venice, leaving the more famous Grand Canal behind, and heading to other important and majestic places. During the ride you’ll see La Fenice, the most famous theater in Venice. It has been repeatedly destroyed by fire and rebuilt, and still remains the city’s main opera venue. It has hosted concerts by great Italian composers such as Rossini, Verdi, Bellini, and Donizetti. Experience the charms of this unique city and take away lasting memories.

The gondola is a must in Venice but the tour is really short (30min including boarding and disembarking). I recommend for people traveling alone but as a couple it is better to take a gondola for 2 (80 € for 30 minutes) because there is not much room in the gondola and some couples were face to face with no legroom

A very romantic gondola ride through Venetian canals & the Canal Grande at the end! The only thing was that our seats in the middle of the gondola were not comfy, it was thight and cramped, there wasn't enough leg room, my seat wasn't fixed so I was moving and falling very often. The other 4 people were sitting in other spots and they were fine, not like us so I think we were just a bit unlucky.

We found the meeting place without a problem, it’s a little confusing because you would think it would be by the water but instead you meet in front of the post office and the nice people guide you to the gondola. The ride was beautiful just like everything else in Venice, particularly when you reach the grand canal. I was worried that sharing a gondola may damper the experience but truly did not hinder the experience. Would recommend.
