Our host Francesca was fantastic! She explained the whole of the process to us on the way up (around 50mins) then we stopped at a gorgeous family run vineyard, met with the son who takes care of the vines. He explained to us their growing, cutting and harvesting methods - and was so patient with all our questions! We then had such a generous feast of their local home grown products including salami from their own pigs. With this we tried three of the vineyards own Proseccos - each with its own character and technique. After this we travelled to see a beautiful water mill for a quick photo stop before heading on to see the next - much larger producer. Here we got to see the large scale production of their Prosecco, including their process from grape to bottle. Seeing the bottling machine in action was in of itself fascinating. After the factory tour we again were able to stop for three more tastings - each tasting very different! I would highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous tour with Francesca. Informative but laid back, and small groups too so not overwhelming. The vineyards were great and generous with their tastings and food. We bought 9 bottles - 6 shipped home - it was all so cheap. I had no idea Prossecco was a region in Northern Italy!!!

The two wineries I visited were nice and friendly respectively. It was also good that the guide and driver's time management was good and the program was on time. In terms of content, the cost performance was high and I was able to participate comfortably. However, since I don't go to Valdobiadene, which makes the best Prosecco, I can't see the scenery of vineyards on the slopes. I think it's a little far from Venice in a day.
