Full description
Embark on a half-day boat trip around the famous islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Discover a more local and authentic side to Venice and explore the scenic islands renowned for their glass blowing, lace-making traditions, and rich history. Climb aboard your boat and sail towards Murano, known as the “Island of Glass". Walk by glass factories where local artists create works of art in glass. Take a short stroll through the quiet streets of Murano and marvel at the beautiful 16th-century buildings that still stand tall to this day. Next, travel to Burano to see one of Venice’s most picturesque islands. Walk by the charming fishermen's houses painted with bright colors whose water reflection gives them a unique, dream-like shimmer. Browse through Burano’s rich collection of lace garments, which are still handmade by local women. Continue towards the tiny island of Torcello where Venetian civilization was born in the 7th century. See Torcello’s central square, the Church of Santa Fosca, and Attila's Throne, an ancient stone chair where chief magistrates were inaugurated. Experience an atmosphere that takes you back in time to where life in Venice began. After visiting all three islands, cruise back to Venice and take in the breathtaking seascape surroundings.

Very nice! Carlotta was very pleasant and was able to make the visit in four languages, especially in French. This excusion would still deserve at least 1 hour of visit on each site (6 hours of walk) because we had to walk quickly to have the impression of making a tour in each village

The islands definitely deserve it, my favorite is Burano, however the pace of the tour is a bit tight, you have just the time for a hit and run in each place ... even 20-30 min fly if you have the thought that you have to return to the boat (but there are also tours that last 1-2h more in which this is probably mitigated).

it was really nice we started exactly on time and first stop was Murano where we saw glass factory and some live demonstration then we headed to torcello and saw the smallest populated island with only 11 houses left and we headed to burano which was a colorful island and famous for laces. it was fun and really found it interesting and good for photography. the guide was also awesome
